What is the Love Connection?
To some in our community, the holiday season can be dampened by the stress of extra expenses. This is where the Love Connection and members in our community come in. Just as family traditions add warmth and brightness, the tradition of the Love Connection brings forth a spirit of caring and sharing to our community.
For the past several years, the people and businesses of Ravenna have pulled together to gather food for families in need in the Ravenna School District through Love Connection. Thank you to all of those in the community (businesses and people like you) who donate food & money for food, in effort to help several families this year in need, and also to all the Ravenna Lions members who helped to organize the baskets and help deliver them throughout the community… Your kindness does not go unnoticed.

NOTE: We are not taking food donations this year, only monetary donations to go toward the purchase of food for the meals.
Each food basket (holiday meal) will include: Turkey, Bag of Potatoes, Canned Vegetables, Stuffing, Eggs, Rolls, Milk, Bread, Butter, Dinner Rolls, 2 Pie Shells with filling, and 2 jars of gravy
